To best position yourself for this journey/process, make sure your taxes are up to date, and if you can, try to hold off buying a new car or any other major purchase, as this can affect your borrowing formula, and make sure that your credit report is as squeaky clean as possible.
Create Your Property Wish List
Start your wish list of price, property location, and must haves. An open mind could be your best friend at this stage. Assess your needs and wants, and other relevant factors such as commute time, school districts, or access to nature or transit. Maybe draw a circle in all directions around where you would ideally like to hang your hat, keep an open mind, you never know which perfect community might be waiting for you!
